Classic “less is more”.

This newcomer in the cycling business has its roots in Amsterdam. The NkdBike was developed with minimizing maintenance in mind, and is a true example of “less is more”. Designing the bike from the ground up, while questioning every part, resulted in an elegant and super robust bike. In a growing but crowded cycle market, it was important to get that message across in their online presence. Together with the NkdBike team we started working on the brand and the online store.

Creative awakening

The original project was simple: migrate to Shopify and create a DTC (direct-to-consumer) sales channel.

During the build, we had a difficult time demonstrating how NkdBike stood out in a crowded market. At it’s core, this was a branding issue. Our Creative Strategists stepped in and stripped down to the basics. We launched a whole new brand strategy, starting from the name. The vision was clear: a cable free, low maintenance bike – a naked bike.

Pure Quality

No-nonsense, just like their bikes

The “less is more” theme continues from the product to the website.

With the rebrand, the vision was clear. We were able to take the ethos of NkdBike and apply it to the website. We migrated to Shopify’s Online Store 2.0 to build a clear, fast and high-performing website.  Everything you need to know about NkdBike is just one-scroll away.

Project Outcome

A stand-out brand

The brand strategy is clear.

Just as NkdBike reimagined the bike from the ground up, Nakatori did the same with their brand. This new brand strategy has allowed them to differentiate themselves, while also highlighting their unique qualities.

This isn’t just another bike.

Custom built website

NkdBike’s legacy e-commerce solution needed a refresh. They needed a platform that was fast, low-maintenance but flexible, just like their product. We built NkdBike on Shopify, using Online Store 2.0 for this exact reason.

The outcome? A simple, elegant, high-performing website.
